Homeless, jobless, and related woe.

Mon Aug 25, 2008, 7:10 AM

'Sup.

So I'm in the middle of a major crisis at the moment. I have to move house - at least find somewhere! - within in the next two weeks. We have thrown paperwork at three places so far, but we got rejected for one, and haven't heard back about the other two, so...

And this is costing money and time. And I still don't have a job, because I can't jobhunt when I'm househunting. Too much hunting.

Of course, all of this means you haven't seen hide nor hair of me for ages! I do apologise. There's nothing I can do.

Catch me on Tegaki or Plurk for more of the Lupie. :)

On the upside, my boy and I have been engaged for about a year now. Doesn't time fly?

Oh my! I hope you find something soon, both a home and a job...that is a very taxing situation indeed!
Things are really bad here too in those areas...our economy is so freakin' screwed up it seems like it shall never be repaired...so many people out of work, and so many people losing their homes.
The US will become a country of homeless people if they don't fix this mess!

S'what's happening over here, too. The economy is so fucked. I'm tempted sooo soooo tempted to invest in a trike and never set foot on a motor vehicle again! Man, I'd like a trike. That'd be awesome.

We'll get there. This is the beginning of the end, after all - we can't expect everything to be sunshine and daffodils. But it won't be like this forever. Things will pick up, people will adjust, and the situation will heal. Either that or we'll all explode and die.

I've got the same problem, Sweetie - I've decided to try job hunting then moving to wherever the job is since I can't drive but so far little luck either way. Andrew hasn't started yet so goodness knows what he's going to do.

Good luck!

I be having a similar problem. I have just under four weeks to find some accommodation for uni, and so far, I've emailed 7 places, and had two back saying "yeah, that room has just been booked. Sorry, bye." Good luck with teh hunting. (here, take my spare sniper rifle.)

-You have cancer.
-That's not very funny Doctor House.
-It's growing on your humerus - I'd say that makes it down-right hilarious.
